The affection between humans and technology

I wanted to spark conversations about people and their machines to better the relationship between humans and their technology. There is a lot of affection and a lot of hate in the relationships with, for example, the smart phone. I used these feelings in a role play in which one person was the owner of the phone, and the other was the phone.

The owner had to break up with the phone, and the phone had to defend itself. The device seen in the pictures communicated this assignment. It made people see their phone from another perspective. What value has my phone to me, and what influence does it have on my life?
